Hi all, looking for a place to sleep at D*C this year. Would love bed-space at a host hotel if at all possible.
My usual roomies all had to bail this year. I don't smoke and drink only rarely (but don't care if you do).
Pretty laid-back and quiet. I usually do some costuming (nothing big). This will be my third D*C and cannot wait for the fun to begin.

Hey everybody! The person I'd planned to room with had to cancel and now I'm homeless for the Con. This will be my 3rd DragonCon and I'm really looking forward to going, if I can find a place to sleep. I'm 40, non smoking, don't do a lot of drinking and travel light. I'll have maybe two costumes and they shouldn't require much space outside the suitcase. The only drama I like is the kind I read about or watch on the screen so you don't have to worry about any pot stirring from me.

Hey all! My girlfriend and I are looking for a roomshare/transfer. I've been to DC a couple times, but this will be her first! She's 27, I'm 29. We both travel light, with maybe some not-large costumes. We both shower daily and don't smoke. Drinking's cool, we don't get belligerent, we're really laid back. Honestly won't be using the room much outside of crashing for a couple hours and showering.

Hey everyone! I'd like to add myself to the fray of trying to get a host hotel room transferred to me.... *fingers crossed* I am a huge cosplayer, as are most of my friends who would be rooming with me, and its not so much an "I would like" as an "I need" a room in a host hotel...!

Hotel: Hyatt, Sheraton, or Westin preferred, but certainly wouldnt say no to the Hilton or Marriott!

I tried to get into the Marriott and Hyatt when they opened (no idea when the others open), and couldn't get a room because the site was too slow. We've never stay in an overflow hotel, so I wasn't sure which ones to look at, so I missed those as well.

I am 45, will be doing light costuming and press work for NerdBastards.com during the weekend. Nothing that would disturb anyone, I'm pretty laid back, non smoker, social drinker, clean up after myself (No wet towels or hair in the sink, hate messy folks that don't consider the others in room).

I live in Atlanta so I would be able to pick up anyone with room space available that is flying in for the weekend. Would be happy to take you back to the airport for your departing flight. Can pickup any Atlanta folks and save parking as well. I've got a Trailblazer that can fit plenty of people and stuff.

I volunteer for the convention. Have worked with the british media track for the past 4 years. I am looking for space for myself, my husband (his first year) and our foster kid (his first year as well). I have a reservation at Hyatt Place for Thursday-Monday, King Bed, 1 sofa couch, free mini fridge, free microwave, free wifi, free breakfast & free shuttle. It is an allergy free room, no feather pillows or comforters.

The total for the room without it being split up is $1016.16 + $100.00 deposit for incidentals. All fees are due on date of check in, the hotel accepts credit & debit cards, but not cash or checks. So far I have one person staying in the room.

This will be my second full year at D*C and my first year as a volunteer. Would preference not staying with a couple, which is what I did last year and had to deal with way too much drama. Not a drinker/smoker but don't mind those who do as long as they're not obnoxious about it. Kind of a quiet and shy person but one of the nice things about D*C is the people their get me so feel fairly comfortable around them.
Will be spending a majority of my time, when not getting my volunteer hours in, at the SGMT so won't be in the room much other than to shower and occasionally sleep. Never done anything like this so hope it works out.
